Dramatic Drop in the World Price of Crude oil

The second half of 2014 saw a dramatic drop in the world price of crude oil. This edition of Project Censored presents a wide-ranging analyis of world energy trading and its implications, from China to Syria to western Europe and the U.S.
The program closes with an excerpt from remarks by Mario Savio at a UC Berkeley rally, 50 years ago, at the start of the Free Speech Movement.

Speakers: Pepe Escobar, Mike Whitney, Eric Draitser. Project Censored theme music: “We Want” by Junkyard Empire. Music breaks:1) “Street Knowledge” by Lord Echo (album: “Curiosities”. 2) “Praxis Makes Perfect” by Neon Neon (album: “Praxis Makes Perfect”). 3) “the Watcher” by Dave Holland (album: “Prism”). 4) “Blasting Cap” by Preston Reed (album: “Metal”).
