Welcome to the Morning Mix, this is the Project Censored Show on Pacifica Radio, I’m Mickey Huff in studio with Peter Phillips. Today we will interview Iyad Burnat who is head of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee in Palestine, and a leader in the Bil’in village non-violent popular resistance movement. Iyad is touring northern California regarding the award winning film 5 Broken Cameras by Iyad’s brother Emad Burnat. Joining him will be Ramallah based – Diana Buttu with the Palestinian Policy network. We will also inteview Malaka Mahammed, the sister of Palestinian hunger striker Samer Issawi in Gaza. And we will wrap up the show with Dalit Baum co-founder of Who Profits from the Occupation, and Lois Pearlman, activist from Sonoma County on local/national boycotts in support of social justice for Palestine.
