The only chatter, I mean advice, I can offer is to read backwards, from the bottom up, especially with long articles.
But mainly, what I want to say is that one year in North Carolina, I think it was 2014, we got some snow that never melted, literally. It was not real snow, some of it, at least. That was the year I first noticed the aluminum chips sparkling. That was the year the phones went out for 3 days, the power went off for 5 days, and the internet for 10 days. Same or similar happened at the Democratic Convention of ? when it was held in Charlotte. No snow then, but the internet and maybe the phone. It’s impossible to keep track of it all.
Reading backwards especially applies with newspaper articles, or did, back when I read them everyday. The first 9/10s is simply repeating the same story from the day before. Anything new will be at the end of the article, if the editor didn’t need to cut the story to get it to fit the space. These days, it’s all done on the computer, so that changes things. ABC reported the Malcolm X story, enough so it could be said they did report it.
