MLK Anniversary and the Legacy of the Assassinations of the 1960’s
This week we discuss the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr, why his message and activism is still so important, as well as the impact of the four major assassinations of the 60’s (MLK, John F Kennedy, Robert F Kennedy, and Malcolm X) and how each changed the course of history both in terms of domestic policy and foreign policy. We also take a few minutes to rebut Brendon O’Connell’s oft repeated claim that we are affiliated with White Nationalists, and why this claim is beyond absurd and how The Antedote has actually been at the forefront in exposing the controlled nature of the Alt Right movement both historically and in the context of current events. We close by discussing the long term threat posed by Israel’s nuclear weapons program and the important role of Abraham Feinberg in shoring up support within the Democratic Party during the early days of Israel’s existence, particularly Harry Truman’s decision to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
