Jim Fetzer, a former Marine Corps officer, is McKnight University Professor Emeritus on the Duluth Campus of the University of Minnesota. A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton, he earned his Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of science before embarking on a 35-year career as a professor of philosophy, offering principally courses in logic, critical thinking and scientific reasoning. Jim has done extensive research on the death of JFK, the atrocities of 9/11, the plane crash that killed Sen. Paul Wellstone, Sandy Hook, the Boston bombing, Orlando and Dallas, the moon landing and other forms of fakery perpetrated by the US government upon the American people. Scott Bennett is a U.S. Army Special Operations Officer (11th Psychological Operations Battalion, Civil Affairs-Psychological Operations Command), and a global psychological warfare-counterterrorism analyst, formerly with defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton. He received a Direct Commission as an Officer, held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance, and worked in the highest levels of international counterterrorism in Washington DC and MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. My CAVEAT: The only important issue they briefly discuss on the Podcast and which I TOTALLY DISAGREE with, is their view of Homosexuality, with that TWISTED belief system which seems to be characteristic of those who call themselves Christians ( Jim Fetzer considers himself one of those Christians) or Muslims and apparently, in my view, are NOT true to Christ. I am Atheist,by the way.
The Homosexuality OBSESSION seems to be derived from the ROOT fear many of those “Christians” seem to have, of SEX, in itself…Sex outside of Marriage is SIN! I guess before Christianity our ancients were very sinful. Good thing Jim and others of his ilk, weren’t around to tell them so !!!!
Don’t misinterpret me. YES there are PERVERSIONS of Sex, such as Paedophilia and Rape, which are the result of FORCE; Bestiality the result of, let us say, “Mental Confusion” and does no harm to other Humans. True Homosexuality is possibly the result of “nature gone wrong” hormonally or otherwise, so-to-speak. True Homosexuals DO NO HARM to others as a consequence of their sexual proclivity But many Christians do ( harm)!. But it’s benefit is that it is a great method of POPULATION control. Could that be Nature’s “REASON” for homosexuality?
Have Jim and Scott, and others like them, ever asked themselves what would CHRIST have thought or done Or are they simply interpreting the Bible and what the various and sundry “sandal wearing” and LATER, Bigoted WRITERS/ Changers of the text of the Bible, believed?
Just as important, WHY is that so important to those, whom I call, FALSE Christians?
I have had many Homosexual friends in my life of 76 years and NOT ONE of them ever tried to influence or violate me in any way shape or form with regards, sexuality. Have Jim and Scott ever had homosexual friends? I doubt it, just as those Christians who HATE Islam have no True Islamic friends. Coincidence-I think not! .
If I had to make a choice of whom to BEFRIEND, I would choose my homosexual friends over Fetzer and Bennett any time because biases such as they demonstrate, can also reflect on or motivate their OBJECTIVITY with other beliefs, opinions and conclusions, including Political!
Otherwise politically I agree, WITH RESERVATION, as implied herein, Jim and Scott but my advice to them is to keep your religious biases to yourselves and STAY with those subjects you can prove and be objective about.
