Dr. Franklin Lamb is Director of the Americans Concerned for Middle East Peace, Beirut-Washington DC, Board Member of The Sabra Shatila Foundation, and a volunteer with the Palestine Civil Rights Campaign, Lebanon. He is the author of “The Price We Pay: A Quarter-Century of Israel’s Use of American Weapons Against Civilians in Lebanon” and is doing research in Lebanon for his next book.

Lamb has been a Professor of International Law at Northwestern College of Law in Oregon. He earned his Law Degree at Boston University and his LLM, M.Phil, and PhD degrees at the London School of Economics.

David’s anti-privatization rant resonates with me. I ran for Congress as a Libertarian, but I don’t agree with the Libertarians who want to privatize everything. To me, “libertarian” means making freedom the basis, i.e. the most deeply-held value, of society. And I think people are far more free when there is lots of public land where they can hike and bike, than where all the land is privatized and fenced off; when roads and paths are toll-free; when they can drink public water rather than bottled water; when they can use bridges and parks and libraries and educational and basic medical care facilities gratis rather than having to pay user fees. In other words, having some form of taxation (or better yet, more-or-less-universal voluntary charity) that covers these things, and putting limits on the domain of homo economicus, is the way to maximize freedom. To me, a world in which everything is privatized – including the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the land we walk on – would be just another Orwellian dystopia. Take THAT, Ayn Rand cultists!

And as a fanatical enemy of bottled water – the perfect symbol of privatization making everything worse – I was glad to see David’s evidence that it’s actually less healthy than tap water.

A few days ago demonstrators in Bahrain marked a year since Saudi Arabian forces entered their country to help the al Khalifeh regime to crush the peaceful protests.

It’s been a year since the rulers destroyed Pearl Square, the focal point of protests. Now people call it Martyrs Square and they’re still turning out calling for an end to oppression.

With the evolution of the revolution, people’s demands have radicalized. They were calling for reforms within the ruling monarchy, but as the Saudi-backed brutal crackdown continues, people are asking for the fall of the regime.

Bahraini revolution represents clear majority: Kevin Barrett

It has been one year since Saudi Arabian forces entered Bahrain to rescue the dictatorial Bahraini regime against a people’s popular revolution for democracy.

Press TV has interviewed Dr. Kevin Barrett, author & Islamic Studies expert from Wisconsin about the relationships between the Al-Khalifa regime, Saudi Arabia and the US and how these external partners have influenced the popular revolution in Bahrain.

He also discusses the muted way which the UN as well as other human rights organizations are responding to the human rights violations being carried out by the Bahraini rulers against the people.

What follows is an approximate transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Do the people of Bahrain have any other option but to keep up these peaceful protests? In other words, what do they need to do, do you think, to have reforms or to have demands of theirs met?

Dr. Barrett: Well, the people of Bahrain are going to need a lot of patience because they’re unfortunately not being helped out by the West and the usual suspects who run around the world trumpeting their human rights concerns.

Here in Bahrain we have a genuine non-violent democracy movement. It’s not clouded by issues of civil war; outside provocateurs… It is a movement that represents clearly the majority of the Bahraini people.

In Syria by contrast, polls taken by the Qatar government have showed that more than 55 percent of the Syrian people actually support their government. It’s a much more complex situation there; but in Bahrain it’s a straight forward peaceful pro-democracy movement that’s being brutally repressed and has been now for more than a year.

Press TV: Let’s look at the international response to the situation in Bahrain. One question is, could the Bahraini regime have survived this without the support that it got from Saudi Arabia and without also the political and diplomatic support that it got from the US as well? In other words, how have these countries influenced the course of the revolution in Bahrain?

Dr. Barrett: Well, the Saudis actually invaded Bahrain and put down the popular democracy movement last year. Without that invasion things might have continued building and the regime would not have been able to survive.

And again, this is a case of just rank hypocrisy. Imagine what would happen if let’s say Iran were to send its forces into Syria to protect the government. Americans and their lackeys around the world would be screaming from the rooftops.

But here, the Saudi regime, which is a totally dictatorial monarchy, invaded a neighboring country to put down these peaceful pro-democracy protests… and did so successfully.

And of course the US, which has its Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain and which uses the Saudi dynasty to maintain corporate bankster control of the world dollar and oil system, didn’t’t mind at all.

So I think it’s clear that the Americans and the Saudis are behind this propping up of a regime whose days are clearly numbered.

Press TV: Let’s look at how the US is leading international efforts at the UN has been reacting to these revolutions. We saw for instance in the case of Libya or now in the case of Syria when it (the US) is not in favor of the rulers, it does call for military intervention; it does call for even equipping the opposition with arms.

Or as in the case of Yemen we saw the US and Saudi Arabia teaming up and calling for a political solution and even giving immunity from prosecution to the Yemeni ruler.

What kind of a solution do you think they’re looking for in the case of Bahrain? Do you think that they’re going to ask the Bahraini rulers to forego some of their powers?

Dr. Barrett: It’s possible that they would be pushing some kind of compromise on the Bahraini rulers. I think the US and its allies are still trying to maintain this neo-imperial control of the Middle East in order to maintain their dollar-oil hegemony over the world.

And to do that they have tried to guide these Arab revolutions toward something other than real democracy because… when you really get down to it, in the region if there were real democracy the US Empire and its Zionists accomplices would be voted right out of the region. So they can’t allow the region to generally democratize.

So what they’re trying to do is destabilize certain areas – Libya and Syria have been the victims of this kind of destabilization. And then to try to stabilize others that perhaps really need to be changed.

I think the Persian Gulf oil sheikhdoms are the places that really need democratization more than any other part of the Middle East because they’re the oil hub that really has the power by way of this control of oil supplies by a very small population that’s being propped up by the Western bankers and imperial governors.

Guest: Leading leftist sociologist and political analyst James Petras, who says the Empire is USING “moderate Islam.” He writes:

“Moderate” Islamists have become the Empire’s ‘contraceptive of choice’ against any chance the massive Arab peoples’ revolt might give birth to substantive egalitarian social changes and bring those brutal pro- western officials, responsible for so many crimes against humanity, to justice.

The West and their client officials in the military and police have agreed to a kind of “power-sharing’ with the moderate/respectable (read ‘reactionary’) Islamist parties. The Islamists would be responsible for imposing orthodox economic policies and re-establishing ‘order’ (i.e. bolstering the existing one) in partnership with pro-multinational bank economists and pro US-EU generals and security officials. In exchange the Islamists could take certain ministries, appoint their members, finance electoral clientele among the poor and push their ‘moderate’ religious, social and cultural agenda. Basically, the elected Islamists would replace the old corrupt dictatorial regimes in running the state and signing off on more free trade agreements with the EU. Their role would keep the leftists, nationalists and populists out of power and from gaining mass support. Their job would substitute spiritual solace and “inner worth” via Islam in place of redistributing land, income and power from the elite, including the foreign multi-nationals to the peasants, workers, unemployed and exploited low-paid employees.

Petras is right about the empire’s strategy. 9/11 accomplished many things for the Zionists and hard-line imperialists, and one of the most important was to demonize honest Islamic opposition. Today, any Muslim political leader who stands up against the Empire will be slandered as a “terrorist” or “extremist” and very possibly kidnapped, tortured, and/or assassinated.

Some of it wasn’t too bad, and some was even revealing, but of course virtually none of it questioned the official conspiracy theory and the ridiculous assertions put out relentlessly by governments and the mainstream media over the past ten years. I see reasons for hope, though.

After the showing of the BBC’s Conspiracy Files programme ’9/11 Ten Years on’ on 29 August someone asked me “How was it?” The falsifications were so blatant that I could honestly reply that it was encouraging, because many people would now be able to see through the propaganda who couldn’t have seen through it in their previous programmes. I thought it signaled a break-through.

It was just as described by John Pilger in his Chicago address, when he reported an anecdote from visiting Soviet journalists in the US. Their spokesman said: “I have to tell you, that we were astonished to find after reading all the newspapers and watching TV day after day that all the opinions on all the vital issues are the same. To get that result in our country we send journalists to the gulag. We even tear out their fingernails. Here you don’t have to do any of that. What is the secret?”.

And yet it was surreal. Throughout the blogs of the mainstream media the comments from the public were overwhelmingly critical of the official story, and of the press’s reporting of it. I had expected that we would be swamped with all sorts of weirdos doing their usual stuff to ridicule anyone who wasn’t toeing the official line and to disrupt intelligent discussion. Dealing with this had become a way of life. But where were they now? Had they given up? I contributed some comments myself in various places, and even complimented BBC Newsnight’s team on revealing the plight of many first responders who were now dying of cancer . I suggested that it was now OK for journalists to let a little bit of the truth out, because now they would have the support of the public. I think we’re winning, folks.

On 12 September, an amazing blog appeared on the The Guardian’s website, headed ‘How the world changed after 9/11′ . “On the day of September 11, Charlie Skelton attends a symposium of critical thinkers in New York”, ran the subheading. Yes, it was a proper journalistic report of a conference of leading critical thinkers on the 9/11 attacks under that name . I see that as a break-through.

For the first time as far as I am aware, an article has appeared in the mainstream media in the UK raising serious questions on the official conspiracy theory on 9/11. The significance of this is not just in the effect of that article as a one-off, but that it signals to other journalists that it’s now OK to raise such issues in the national press. I hope it doesn’t get Charlie Skelton into trouble, since George Monbiot, Polly Toynbee and David Aaronovitch all write for The Guardian. Unless the authorities find some way of silencing people over that Guardian article, other journalists will get the message, and the cracks in the facade will widen. So I was interested to see an article by Guardian journalist Nicolaus Mills on 15 September in The Guardian’s ‘Comment is Free’ headed ‘The anthrax scare: not a germ of truth’, and subheaded ‘Ten years on, the anthrax attacks seem a footnote to 9/11, but we forget how George Bush used them to push for war in Iraq‘ . The breakthrough is real.

During the run-up to the tenth anniversary we would discuss what we could do to mark the event. Anything I could think of, and any ideas from others, all seemed like a drop in the ocean compared with the expected onslaught. I remembered the tactic of the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, when they would await enemy fire, count a certain number of seconds, then all pop up from their underground hideouts and return fire when the enemy had run out of ammunition. However, shortly before the 9/11 anniversary Belinda, who used to organise the 9/11 Truth meetings in London, had a bit of inspiration, and organised a public meeting at the Indian YMCA for the Keep Talking group. The speaker was Ian Crane, who had been the first chairman of the London 9/11 Truth movement before I was around, and who now organises the Alternative Vision conferences. At the time, he was planning a lecture tour around the UK. Belinda has the magic touch, and so does Ian Crane. I was getting nervous about a low turnout, which could make the event look ridiculous in such a large hall, so I sent out a press release using various freeby services. The Keep Talking group put a couple of classified advertisements in London newspapers (one of which didn’t appear). But I think it was Ian Crane’s own publicity machine that got the people there. On the evening itself some of us initially put out about fifty chairs. About 170 people turned up. The issue is very much alive, and the authorities could hardly have done better in helping us keeping it alive.

Earlier the same day, some members of Keep Talking were driving down from Sheffield, where they had been attending the employment tribunal hearing for Tony Farrell, the former Principal Intelligence Analyst for South Yorkshire Police, who had been sacked for his assessment of terrorist risks in the area, even though his bosses recognised that he may be right, as I reported in my August newsletter. By chance, Ian Crane had been due to speak in Sheffield on 9/11 and related issues. In the event, following his talk, Ian Crane ended up representing Tony Farrell at the tribunal. That evening, just as Ian Crane was about to speak at the London Indian YMCA, Tony Farrell unexpectedly turned up, looking in high spirits, despite having lost the case. He told us he intended to appeal. He got an enthusiastic round of applause after Ian Crane had outlined his story.

I’ve just been speaking to someone I don’t know over the phone, who was telling me all about Tony Farrell’s mistakes, and why he can’t be right. But for me, the case shouldn’t rest on whether or not he is right, because no-one challenged him on that. In fact, he reported that his bosses had admitted that he may be right. So what was he fired for? It’s quite simple. As his bosses in South Yorkshire Police put it: “We are footsoldiers of the Government”. So, I sometimes think, are the courts.

I wasn’t at the hearing myself, though initially I had planned to be. I thought it better to follow events on the Internet, and post the occasional comment. I also got a couple of press releases out and tried to catch up on other urgent work, like preparing for an Interlinguistics Symposium at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, where I had been invited to present a paper on the cause of the stagnation of the Esperanto movement. The university runs a course on Interlinquistics, and one of the organisers, a professor of sociology had sent me a paper of his titled ‘Esperanto-movado: ?u perdita komunumo?’ [The Esperanto movement: Is it a lost community?] . In that paper he contrasts two tendencies in sociological research: the common sense approach and the science-based approach, arguing that there was a dearth of science-based sociological research on the Esperanto movement. I had been doing science-based research work into the Esperanto movement in the UK, and this had caught his attention. They wanted at the Symposium to identify the present-day challenges to the Esperanto movement. In my presentation, I brought it all down to one single factor, the same as I would for the whole of the truth movement: coping with Cognitive Dissonance.

Cognitive Dissonance is the uncomfortable feeling that people sometimes get when they are confronted with facts that are in contradiction to deeply held beliefs. This can lead to them making all sorts of silly statements and incoherent explanations, in order to avoid having to admit that their beliefs could be mistaken. I linked this to George Orwell’s ‘voluntary censureship’, which he wrote about in the preface to Animal Farm, though this was censured out during his lifetime . As long as this Cognitive Dissonance reigns, mass deception will be successful, but as soon as it is overcome, mass deception will be seen for what it is. The fundamental problem is not that an association or a government may be taken over by fraudsters, but that if it’s done with a smile, most of the voters will let them do it. Look at Tony Blair. How is it possible to believe that someone with such charm could have so many conflicts of interest whilst working as a peace envoy in the Middle East? A Channel 4 Dispatches programme on 27 September presented an amazing story . But will there be consequences?

The way to break through Cognitive Dissonance I think is to introduce the issues in the abstract, and then show the bigger picture when the person has accepted the simple facts or the logic. The best example of that that I can think of is the Dutch television interview with demolition expert Danny Jowenko. The interviewer showed him the collapse of Building 7, without saying when it happened, and asked him for his opinion. Only after he had said that it was controlled demolition did they reveal that it was part of the World Trade Center which collapsed on the same day as 9/11. Since he was an expert, he may have recognised it as controlled demolition anyway, but I think many of the viewers would have been coloured by previous knowledge. After the interview he was prepared to speak out on Building 7. I was saddened, on looking up the link for the video, to find that he died in a car crash six weeks ago .

Similarly, in a talk at the London Esperanto Club, I had asked members whether any of them knew about the matter of Dermod Quirke and the library . As expected, they looked perplexed. I then told them that I didn’t either. I read out a short text which had appeared in the national association’s periodical, saying that no-one on the Management Committee knew anything about it either, and neither did whoever wrote the text. They looked bewildered. I then told them that I had asked Dermod Quirke about it and he couldn’t tell me. So who did know anything about it? Whether or not it happened to be true, the whole thing was a concoction. Only when members were sufficiently mystified did I reveal the context. It was part of a statement by the President, and presented an example of my ‘mischievous and possibly defamatory’ allegations against the Management Committee. It was their way of silencing me when I had revealed information which members were entitled to know. Members were being kept in the dark over a campaign to save the college in which the association’s own headquarters were housed. The President’s deception had worked .

As I flew back from Poznan, some of the Keep Talking members were attending a ‘Conspiracy Theory Day’ conference in London . Speakers were to include the two authors of the Demos report on ‘conspiracy theories’ whom we met on 25 October 2010, when we in the Keep Talking group challenged them to demonstrate their ideas on ‘open infiltration’. Also billed to speak was their friend David Aaronovitch, known for his anti-truth-movement campaign. It was clear that this was to be a propaganda event for the conspiracy deniers. My eye was particularly drawn to the name of Robert Brotherton, said to be doing a PhD on conspiracy theories at Goldsmith’s College. Now that’s interesting; our confrontation with Demos took place at Goldsmith’s College by the invitation from another PhD student in conspiracy theories.

I was expecting the whole thing to be stage-managed. Demos had not responded to my challenge for a return match, and we had not been invited to present our case at their ‘conspiracy theory’ meeting. But at the last moment something weird happened. David Aaronovitch pulled out, and he was replaced by Ian Crane . Some of the Keep Talking group attended as members of the public, including Kevin Boyle, who wrote the meeting up on his blog , which was reproduced in Sovereign Independent . From his description of the event, it sounds as if it was far from walking into the lion’s den, as I had expected. He wrote that Ian Crane’s presentation was “clear and powerful and punctuated with regular applause”. Ian Crane also handed the stage over to Tony Farrell for five minutes, “and here was the whole confrontation of the day personified in one man”, Kevin wrote.

It sounded like a rout, so I sought a report from the other side, and found one, of all places in the CiF Watch website, which describes itself as “Monitoring and exposing antisemitism on the Guardian’s newspaper’s ‘Comment is Free’ blog” . What the relevance of that is I haven’t yet figured out, but Jamie Bartlett did try to tell me that the antisemites were having a go at Carl Miller because of his Jewish name. Don’t try to make sense of it. In any case, is the idea that there could be criminals in the Knesset as well as in Westminster and the Capitol antisemitism? If it is, that can only be because ‘anti-semitism’ lost its hyphen long ago.

The CiF Watch report stated that nothing in Ian Crane’s presentation constituted “what could be called rigorous scientific evidence let alone proof”. Yet Carl Miller had admitted to us that their own statistical results linking conspiracy theory groups with terrorism was not based on any statistical analysis, and Jamie Barlett admitted that the Demos report was “not a scientific report”. However, CiF Watch did inform us that “The ‘troofers’ also set up a stall at the back of the hall from which they sold copies of DVDs which purported to tell us the real story about the events of 9/11 and 7/7″. Great! The intention had been to hand them out outside the conference, but they ended up selling the packs at £1 each. They reported back to Keep Talking: “DVDs and flyers went like hot cakes at yesterday’s Conspiracy Theories Conference. A great day for our side”.

As for the psychologists, I found a documentary on YouTube, broadcast on Channel 4 three years ago, featuring Professor French and his co-worker Patrick Leman. Dr Leman stated: “As psychologists, we’re not principally interested in whether one particular conspiracy theory is true or another one isn’t”. ‘See No Truth, Hear No Truth, Speak No Truth’ . This is an excellent analysis, and again it comes down to tackling Cognitive Dissonance. The remaining practical problem that I see is tackling the opposition, the propagandists who know all the psychological stuff and have been applying it more effectively than we were, but to mislead and discredit. As always, I think the main part of solving the problem is understanding it, and David’s analysis is very welcome in furthering that aim.

I found it interesting that former head of MI5, Eliza Manningham-Buller, giving a BBC 2011 Reith Lecture on 20 September, asserted: “The terrorist now has at his disposal tools which were once the sole preserve of the state” . Really? Hydrogen peroxide and black pepper? That’s what we were told the 7/7 Four used to blow up three trains and a bus. Hydrogen peroxide has been used in hair dye since about 1860, and black pepper goes back at least as far as Rameses II, and was available in Europe in the Middle Ages. So what is Eliza Manningham-Buller suggesting? I don’t know, but if in the past only states had the facilities to commit such terrorist atrocities, then perhaps that’s still the case. Well, actually, in her first lecture on 6 September, she stated: “But I do not expect terrorism as a tool, often used by states in earlier decades, now used largely by groups, to disappear” . So who sponsors these groups? Yet there was no consideration of such issues; she stated that they came to an immediate conclusion that al-Qaeda was responsible (See my comment) . These partial admissions are interesting. These people seem to be positioning themselves; it’s now only a matter of time before the mainstream media start asking them what they knew and when they knew it.

Yet as the national press is starting to admit reality, Liverpool Football Club is considering disciplinary action against striker Nathan Eccleston for tweeting: “I ain’t going to say attack don’t let the media make u believe that was terrorist that did it. #OTIS.” . ‘OTIS is presumed to stand for ‘Only The Illuminati Succeed’. This is reminiscent of the American footballer Rashard Mendenhall, who got into trouble for Twitter remarks questioning the public celebrations of Osama bin Laden’s death, and whether the World Trade Center towers were really brought down on September 11 only by crashing two hijacked airliners into the buildings . These people need our support, if only because others who may wish to speak out should not feel intimidated.

The antidote is to keep talking.

A light went on when I just couldn’t figure why Erdogan was soft shoeing the Israelis after the Marmara as a lack of action would seem to me to have weakened his base. But I had missed all the high officer arrests that had been going on, starting with the major round up in Feb 24th, 2010. Erdogan was still cleaning out the Israeli wing in the military which he could expect to definitely make a move on him with a major break with Israel. (The geniuses who decided to slaughter a bunch of unarmed activists on the Mavi Marmara, and then refuse to apologize, get much of the credit for that.)

Turkey is well-positioned to be a key power of the upcoming century. With its double-digit economic growth, land surface bigger than any European country, critically-important geo-strategic location, improving education and infrastructure, consistent movement toward the two ideological attractors of our age (democracy and Islam), and claim to primacy in the vast Turkic-speaking hinterland stretching from Europe to China, reports of the Ottoman Empire’s death may turn out to have been greatly exaggerated.

After 9/11, the pop hit “War” was placed on the list of post-9/11 inappropriate titles distributed by Clear Channel.

Protesters have been trying to stop the military juggernaut ever since the end of World War II, yet the war machine is more powerful and influential than ever. Why? The veiled powers pulling the strings no doubt have their own dark agenda, but why has our much-trumpeted system of political democracy not been able to stop them?

The answer may involve our individualistic, laissez-faire brand of capitalism, which forbids the government to compete with private business except in cases of “national emergency.” The problem is that private business needs the government to get money into people’s pockets and stimulate demand. Tonight, I will be interviewing Jonathan Kay, who savages me in his book Among the Truthers.

Gordon Duff thinks Jonathan Kay is a “lightweight.” *

But as anti-9/11-truth polemicists go, Kay is one of the contenders for the heavyweight title.

So far as I know, there are only four books, and one peer-reviewed mainstream article, that attack or attempt to refute the 9/11 truth movement. (Compare that to the dozens of excellent pro-9/11-truth books, three of them peer reviewed and put out by major university presses, and the many more dozens of first-rate pro-9/11-truth articles, dozens of which are peer-reviewed and/or in mainstream journals or major university press books.**)

The four anti-truth books are:

(1) Popular Mechanics’ Debunking the 9/11 Myths (the culmination of a project launched by Zionist-extremist Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff’s cousin).

(2) Matt Taibbi’s The Great Derangement.

(3) Pro-Israeli propagandist David Aaronovitch’s Voodoo Histories.

(4) Jonathan Kay’s brand new Among the Truthers: A Journey into the Growing Conspiracist Underground of 9/11 Truthers, Birthers, Armageddonites, Vaccine Hysterics, Hollywood Know-Nothings, and Internet Addicts.

Taibbi may be a better writer, but I think Kay’s ponderous title alone makes him a presumptive shoo-in for the heavyweight crown.

Kay’s book is a rambling ad-hominem attack against the 9/11 truth movement in general, and selected 9/11 truth luminaries in particular. I have the pleasure of reporting that I am tied with Ken Jenkins, only slightly behind Mike Ruppert, and just barely ahead of David Ray Griffin and Richard Gage, as the most-discussed 9/11 truth leader in Kay’s book.*** I think I am safe in calling myself the most intensively vilified (indeed the most egregiously libeled) of the book’s cast of characters.

I am tempted to say that Kay deserves consideration for the Larry Silverstein Chutzpah Award — for telling so many stinking lies about me, and then having the unmitigated audacity to come on my radio show ; – ) Seriously, I think it argues well for Kay’s courage and sincerity that he is willing to have a public conversation with me. Were he to refuse to do so, I would be inclined to view Among the Truthers as one gigantic Straussian ignoble lie. (Yes, I think that sincere Straussians, if that isn’t an oxymoron, could very well struggle to keep the lid on 9/11 for the “greater good” of Israel and/or the US empire…but I will extend to Kay the courtesy of assuming that he is sincere in his apparent inability to rationally weigh the facts of 9/11 and draw the obvious conclusions.)

Why I am extending this courtesy to Kay I’m not sure. He certainly did not extend the same sort of courtesy to me. On the contrary, he seems to have assumed my bad intentions; and he makes so many errors of fact and judgment in his discussion of me — errors that could easily have been corrected by a few minutes of research — that I almost wonder if he isn’t part of a benevolent conspiracy to discredit his own book, and give the 9/11 truth movement a shot in the arm, by setting himself up for the mother of all libel suits.

In any case, he’s a brave man to wade into the ring with me.

April Gallop, a Pentagon employee injured (along with her baby son) in the 9/11/2001 false-flag bombing, is suing three of the suspected perpetrators – Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Richard Meyers.

We at Truth Jihad Radio hereby award the Larry Silverstein Award for Chutzpah Above and Beyond the Call of Duty to…Federal Court Judge William Walker, George H.W. Bush’s cousin and thus George W. Bush’s second cousin.

Judge Walker and his two co-panelists have issued punitive sanctions against April Gallop’s lawyers, including William Veale. Why? Because Gallop’s legal team made a motion to recuse Walker from judging a lawsuit against Bush II Administration Officials, accusing those officials of orchestrating the 9/11 attacks.

This is the second set of sanctions Walker has slapped on Gallop’s lawyers. The first was for bringing what Walker considered a “frivolous” lawsuit against his cousin.

Judge Walker did not merely dismiss the motion and refuse to recuse himself from a case arguing that his cousin’s administration perpetrated the worst crime in US history. (No conflict of interest there!) He dismissed the motion AND sanctioned Veale for bringing it! This after having already sanctioned Gallop and her lawyers for bringing the case in the first place!!

In today’s America, federal judges apparently think that they have no conflict of interest judging cases arguing that their own family members are involved in horrendous crimes…and if anybody thinks they do, sanction them!

Had this rule been in force before 9/11 “changed everything,” Judge Luciano could have presided over a case against his aptly-named son Lucky…Judge Manson could have presided over the case against her poor misunderstood son Charlie…Judge Gein could have sat in on the case claiming that his eccentric but generally decent nephew Eddie was making lampshades out of illicit materials…and all those cases could have been dismissed, with sanctions against those who brought them…and additional sanctions for asking the judges to recuse themselves!

NEW YORK, March 23, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ –
A December 2010 poll conducted by the prestigious Emnid Institute, and reported in the German magazine “Welt der Wunder,” revealed that 89.5% of German respondents do not believe the official story of 9/11.

The issue is heating up in America as well, and will soon be heard in court.

Top Secret Military Specialist April Gallop saw disturbing things up close that have not been reported in the media.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, she was ordered by her supervisor to go directly to work at the Pentagon, before dropping off her ten-week-old son Elisha at day care.

Amazingly, the infant was given immediate security clearance upon arrival.

The instant Gallop turned on her computer an enormous explosion blew her out of her chair, knocking her momentarily unconscious.

Escaping through the hole reportedly made by Flight 77, she saw no signs of an aircraft – no seats, luggage, metal, or human remains. Her watch (and other clocks nearby) had stopped at 9:30-9:31 a.m., seven minutes before the Pentagon was allegedly struck at 9:38 a.m.

The 9/11 Commission reported that “by no later than 9:18 a.m., FAA centers in Indianapolis, Cleveland, and Washington were aware that Flight 77 was missing and that two aircraft had struck the World Trade Center.”

Why then were there no anti-aircraft defenses, Gallop asks, or alarm warnings inside the Pentagon?

Gallop was briefed by officials not to tell her story in public; she also received an email from a Fox News reporter who had been told by the Pentagon not to interview her.

Gallop now believes that officials within the Bush Administration conspired to destroy the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and WTC 7 – the third building brought down at 5:20 p.m. that day – with pre-placed explosives detonated after the planes hit.

On April 5th, 2011, at 11 a.m., at the Federal Courthouse at 141 Church Street in New Haven, Connecticut, the case of Gallop v. Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Myers will be heard by the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

Gallop’s case relies on virtually all forms of evidence admissible in court, but significantly, on published scientific evidence that residues of these explosives were found in the rubble after the attacks. In its totality the proffered case establishes that the government hypothesis – that the buildings collapsed due to fire in combination with the airplane impacts – is scientifically untenable.

In addition, Ms. Gallop will, through photographic and other physical evidence, as well as the testimony of a multitude of military and civilian survivors, demonstrate the impossibility of her having lived through the attack on the Pentagon if it had taken place as the government and the defendants claim.

German Federal Judge, Deiter Dieseroth, stated in December 2009 that:

“No independent court has applied legal procedures to review the available evidence on who was responsible for the attacks.”

Also, that “it is not acceptable for a constitutional state…to declare war, bomb a foreign country, and place it under military occupation,” without first identifying suspects.

Dieseroth also said the U.S. “was under burden of proof” that Osama bin Laden was responsible for the attacks, yet the FBI admits it has no evidence presentable in court to back this up.

The stakes in this case are epic, including the possibility of an overwhelming transformation of the world’s understanding of history, not to mention American citizens’ relationship with their government.

Ex-ISI chief General Hamid Gul has long been a brave voice of 9/11 truth, expressing the view of 97% of Pakistanis that al-Qaeda did not do 9/11 as far back as September 26th, 2001, when he pointed out that “Mossad and its American associates are the obvious culprits” – a simple truth that even much of the 9/11 truth movement still doesn’t want to hear almost ten years later.

A statesman whose integrity is matched by his strategic vision, Gen. Gul – perhaps the leading architect of the historic victory over the Soviets in Afghanistan (he was then Osama Bin Laden’s boss!) – is one of the most impressive political figures of our time. Read his biography here.

Road to Hope convoy stalled at Egyptian border

The Road to Hope humanitarian aid convoy continues its role in the international community’s collective mission to break the illegal siege of Gaza and deliver desperately needed aid to the people of Palestine in Gaza. The convoy comprises 30 vehicles and 101 humanitarian aid workers. Among them are 8 survivors of the Israeli attack on the Freedom Flotilla, 7 of them were aboard the Mavi Marmara, including Ken O’Keefe who was involved in disarming two Israeli commandos. The convoy has travelled four and a half thousand miles and is currently located at the Libyan / Egyptian border. As it stands the convoy finds itself at a standstill, with direct communication with the outside world being limited, and access to the internet very difficult.

It has always been a central aspect of the Road to Hope convoy that it acts in a non-political, non-confrontational manner. To work with and cooperate with every government in every country through which it travelled. Thus far this approach has rewarded it with exceptional receptions in every nation. All of the North African governments have been extremely accommodating and the people of each nation even more so. We must give special praise to the Libyan government for its constant support; when the convoy have had challenges, including breakdowns of vehicles, the authorities here have provided the means to repair those vehicles and continue our mission.

Ken O’Keefe: “Now we find ourselves in our third day at the Libyan / Egyptian border and we remain hopeful that the land route will be opened to us in the coming days”. The convoy departed from London with the understanding that the land crossing through Egypt had not been closed to it. Convoy leader, Kieran Turner: “One reason for our optimism that we will travel the land route is the fact that the Al Quds convoy, a Libyan convoy also delivering aid to Gaza, is set to travel the land route in the coming days. For several weeks we have hoped to join our convoys and travel together.” However, the convoy is awaiting permission from the Egyptian authorities to pass through Egypt in this way.

Mr. Turner understands that there is a possibility the Egyptian government will deny the convoy the land route, in which case they will have only two acceptable options —

1) To press on via the land border without permission, at which time our only chance of success will be by way of significant international pressure and a reversal of a policy which tacitly supports the illegal siege of Gaza.

2) If the land route is denied the only remaining option is to deliver our aid by sea. This option inherently requires significant increases in the cost of our mission, and importantly, to all subsequent aid missions. The end result of this policy is a reduction in the already limited resources that can be brought to bear for the people of Palestine.

The convoy leadership urge the Egyptian authorities to allow us safe passage to Gaza by land in the coming days, allow the convoy to join the Al Quds convoy, and ultimately increase the “easing” of the blockade which continues to collectively punish the people of Gaza.

Mr. Ken O’Keefe calls on all the supporters of Palestine “to support Road to Hope and the Al Quds convoys by spreading awareness of our missions and encouraging Egyptian cooperation”.

Area man stirs debate on WTC collapse

South Bend firm’s lab director fired after questioning federal probe

SOUTH BEND — The laboratory director from a South Bend firm has been fired for attempting to cast doubt on the federal investigation into what caused the World Trade Center’s twin towers to collapse on Sept. 11, 2001.

Kevin R. Ryan was terminated Tuesday from his job at Environmental Health Laboratories Inc., a subsidiary of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., the consumer-product safety testing giant.

On Nov. 11, Ryan wrote a letter to the National Institute of Standards and Technology — the agency probing the collapse — challenging the common theory that burning jet fuel weakened the steel supports holding up the 110-story skyscrapers.

Ryan wrote that the institute’s preliminary reports suggest the WTC’s supports were probably exposed to fires no hotter than 500 degrees — only half the 1,100-degree temperature needed to forge steel, Ryan said. That’s also much cooler, he wrote, than the 3,000 degrees needed to melt bare steel with no fire-proofing.

“This story just does not add up,” Ryan wrote in his e-mail to Frank Gayle, deputy chief of the institute’s metallurgy division, who is playing a prominent role in the agency investigation. “If steel from those buildings did soften or melt, I’m sure we can all agree that this was certainly not due to jet fuel fires of any kind, let alone the briefly burning fires in those towers.”
