Obama’s War Escalation Speech Live from West Point

No Lies Radio will broadcast live President Barack Obama’s speech today from West Point, where he is expected to announce a major US troop escalation to Afghanistan. This Pacifica Radio Network live coverage will begin at 5pm PST/8pm EST/0100 GMT, and will be presented as a part of a special bi-coastal Flashpoints broadcast, co-hosted by Dennis Bernstein and Robert Knight in New York.

Special guests include Middle East expert, award-winning journalist and Flashpoints special correspondent, Dahr Jamail, and members of Military Families Speak Out. The Flashpoints broadcast will also feature reports on several anti-war protests planned to coincide with the President’s decision to escalate the war.

Flashpoints is a hard-hitting investigative news radio show broadcast on the Pacifica Radio Network and is produced by Dennis Bernstein and Nora-Barrows Friedman of KPFA Berkeley.
