THE IRISH HAVE SPOKEN
Uploaded by truthseeker444 on Nov 30, 2010
On Saturday the 27th of November 2010, on a bitter cold winter morning, over 100,000 people took to the Streets of Dublin to send a clear message to their government and the EU.
Despite this huge turnout, RTE and the UK TV stations underplayed the whole protest, and seriously understated the numbers and the effect.
I have made this vid so as the true numbers can be seen, and the feelings of the people can be heard. Most of the pics used were taken by Jeremy Turkington, but I have added others that were not, ie the aerial shots.
O’Connell Street was packed from one end to the other, and the overspill went down adjoining Streets. The significance and the impact of this display of Unity, should not be undermined.
On the steps of the GPO Ireland reclaimed itself as a Sovereign Republic!
The backing tracks are from Andrew Hughes and Gareth Icke, in that order.
I would like to personally thank Jim Corr for the great work he done to promote this protest, his vid calling the people to protest has now had over 100,000 hits on you tube, and went viral within hours of being released.
I would also like to thank the 100,000-120,000 people, who braved the freezing cold on this very momentous day.
There is great strength in UNITY! This is just the start of the Irish people claiming their country back from the greedy hands of the IMF and the EU!
i am very proud to have been part of this day.

Capitalism: A Love Story. On the 20-year anniversary of his groundbreaking masterpiece "Roger & Me," Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story" comes home to the issue he's been examining throughout his career: the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans. But this time the culprit is much bigger than General Motors, and the crime scene is far wider than Flint, Michigan.
