I ordered all cotton ‘yoga’ socks from the Internet and was surprised when I opened the package to find socks with individual toes–like gloves for your feet instead of regular socks which are closer to wearing mittens.

I had read some article about proper aligning of the toes could help foot problems later on in life. So I tried them on & was actually shocked at how long it took me to fit my toes into the sock–my toes kept wanting to curl together & not separate. After the first time it was much easier as I started with the big toe then each toe afterwards–forget about just putting them on! Don’t give up because it’s difficult at first. I wear them at night to keep my toes from forming/curling together. Because I work from home, often I don’t wear shoes around the house & my feet were forming blisters & calluses in all the wrong places. Toe curling can result from anatomical imbalances, muscle or bone weaknesses or shoe deficiencies. Poor-fitting, worn and unsupportive running shoes can exacerbate problems with your feet. It’s been a few weeks since I have worn the socks everyday, they are so comfortable, my calluses near my toes & on my heels are almost gone & I feel like my feet are supporting my body in a whole new way–no more toe & arch cramps, either!
