On August 20, 2009, Allan Rees of No Lies Radio News interviewed Emmy award wining actor and social activist Ed Asner. Ed has been an ardent supporter of numerous social justice causes for decades and he is a current supporter of 911 Truth. Listen to what he has to say about how this country has a history of suspected false flag operations including 911 in 2001 and the Gulf of Tonkin in 1964. Ed has spoken at a variety of 911 Truth forums and has recently introduced Richard Gage AIA of ae911truth.org in Los Angeles and has made Public Service Announcements for the 911 Truth community. Listen to several here.
Ed is probably best known for his character Lou Grant on the Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1970 and his role as a journalist on the Lou Grant show from 1977-1982. He won an Emmy for his role on Roots and also 6 other Emmys. His movie and TV career has spanned almost a half a century and he has acted in over 20 movies… most recently he co-starred in the feature film Gigantic with John Goodman; and had an Emmy nominated guest appearance on CSI/NY and currently he is the lead voice of Carl Fredricksen in Pixar’s 2009 box-office-hit UP and has narrated the documentary film “The Oil Factor: Behind the War on Terror”.
