July 18, 2016 / Seattle, Washington- On June 23, and continuing for eight weeks, 14 Seattle Metro downtown buses are displaying the following paid advertisement: 20 MILES WEST OF SEATTLE IS THE LARGEST CONCENTRATION OF DEPLOYED NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN THE US. Included in the advertisement is a map showing the proximity of Seattle to Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, home port for 8 of the Navy’s 14 Trident nuclear powered submarines. The statement in the ad refers to the combined number of nuclear warheads deployed on Trident D-5 missiles on SSBN submarines based at Bangor and nuclear warheads stored at Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC). More than 1,300 nuclear warheads are deployed 20 miles west of Seattle at the
Bangor submarine base.

King County Metro was initially hesitant to run the ad, and questioned the accuracy of the statement of fact regarding the number of nuclear weapons at Bangor. Hans Kristensen, director of the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists, provided corroboration of the statement. Kristensen provides the public and government agencies with analysis and background information about the status of nuclear forces worldwide and the geopolitical implications of nuclear weapons.

The bus ads are an effort by Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action, a grass roots organization in Poulsbo, Washington, to reawaken public awareness of the dangers of nuclear weapons.
Ground Zero member, Rodney Brunelle, said of the bus ad campaign, “We hope to generate a measure of citizen interest, and to begin a public discussion of nuclear weapons in the Puget Sound region. In this election year the danger of nuclear weapons ought to be a topic of discussion.”

GZ is a few miles from my home and I have attended quite a few gatherings there over the last 8-10 years. And at each event I have suggested that they adopt a different set of tactics than those so well established, and even so well infiltrated and compromised that were developed in the 60s-70s.

It seems to me, as it occurred with Kshama Sawant in Seattle, that accepting some elements of: “CI…Civil Informationing: modernizing public actisvim”, might lead to THIS CENTURY’S SUCCESS and forward movement.

I bet that you cannot even connect the dots within the very interview that you have presented here…that the GZ folks have admitted that the current “average citizen” in the Seattle area has nary a clue about Bangor NUKES etc. So, who exactly was the major force in EDUCATING the area citizens for all these decades? You fully know the answer…and at least you were polite enough to not expose this failure to him/them.

So, may I congratulate your social skills and concurrently challenge your effectiveness and leadership in so many of the worthy issues that you are trying to affect change within.

Cindy, I keep asking/challenging YOU to reevaluate your decades old tactics of political activism and their overall efficacy…the point being that there is essentially NO example of progress…because “they” have had our number since the 60s-70s! 15 billion annually in the Pentagon’s “Psy-Op” department will do that!

So, that GZ decided to do something beyond standing outside the gates of Bangor [STUUUUPID-UUUUUSELESSSS!] and have chosen to adopt some tenants of CI…which instruct to take messages to WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE…DUHHHHHHHHHHHH…is certainly a step forward.

Well, how about you? Are you willing to accept that its 2016 and no longer 1968? Not so far…

It simply breaks my heart to see your brilliance and wonderful heart to continue to play the Pentagon’s game…the one that they have infiltrated and manipulated with “controlled opposition” for decades now.

And don’t EVER get me going about Media Benjamin and Code Pink…a WDC based disinfo op designed to “sooth the masses”…just like Chomsky! CONTROLLED OPPOSITION!

Please become the “mouthpice” for CI…which instructs citizens in a democracy t…become informed “outside” corporate media…to then politely inform other citizens…and then to organize locally…and then to have their POWER “trickle upward: from towns and cities-to counties-to regions-to states-to their country-to the world.

I will NEVER accept that you are as ineffective as you are-you are simply too special…and I will always believe that YOU can explain CI to citizens all around the world.

Its 2016 and no longer 1968…we can get better…you too!

    Peace, love and progress…

9/11: Explosive Evidence -- Experts Speak Out
by Architects & Engineers for 911 Truth

The 43 technical experts interviewed in Experts Speak Out lay out the case for controlled demolition from their individual areas of expertise in hi-rise architecture, structural engineering, metallurgy, chemistry, physics, and controlled demolition. The seeming implausibility of the implications of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers being demolished with explosives is also handled quite skillfully in the film, as eight experts in psychology discuss the difficulties many people have in confronting the myth-shattering reality. This is a newly released DVD.

Reviews: Excellent Item for Travel, Backpacking, Camping, Etc.

This radio is a great little investment. It does exactly everything it states it should. On a 60 second crank I got hours of play. I ran the radio completely dead by leaving the light on and the radio playing at half column. I let the radio play like this with the light on for at least an hour before it went dead. I then put it out in the sun and let it charge with the solar charger for about four hours and then turned the radio on and let it play for only about an hour and then just didn't want to complete the experiment. I am very pleased with this radio. 60 seconds of cranking for hours of play is very reasonable. Letting it charge out in the sun and getting hours of play is very reasonable. I have other brands like this in the past that you would crank for 5 to 10 and get maybe 10 minutes of play.

The USB charge does work, but know that it will not charge an iPhone 3Gs. This is more a problem/restriction of the iPhone 3Gs (a widely discussed complaint across the Internet for many-many generic charging devices) and is not because of the radio. Charging my old Samsung phone was not a problem.

On the 20-year anniversary of his groundbreaking masterpiece "Roger & Me," Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story" comes home to the issue he's been examining throughout his career: the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans. But this time the culprit is much bigger than General Motors, and the crime scene is far wider than Flint, Michigan.
